Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.

What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get Luigi to better recognise if someone's calling him a dog, cat, or anything like that?

you cat, you dog, etc. would probably only be used then (but probably as an insult more than anything else)

you are * cat, you are * dog
(problem here is that the AI Engine sometimes adds "you are" to the beginning of statements)

you (look|act|remind|seem) * cat
might pick up some other cases

I am trying to edit some x-keyphrases and keyphrases but everytime I click on its name in the Language center it doesn't work. HELP!!

Hmmm. Let's try to step through a change to xnone. Where is it failing you?

1. Click on My Bots
2. Click on Language Center
3. Click on x-Keywords
4. Click on xnone
5. Replace "I was just born and cannot speak well yet" with your own response.
6. Click on Update Keyphrase.

Where is it not working?

When I click on xnone nothing happens. The page, briefly, refreshs then stays in its normal view. I thought it was because I put pop-up blocker on but even when I requested it open it did not. I even tried rewriting the keyphrase in the "Make a new one" box thing but it keeps on telling me that phrase already exists or that and x -keyphrase is a special keyphrase and must be edited in Language Control.

It still sounds like a popup blocker is causing it. I don't think that it could be anything else.

But I can override the pop-up blocker by telling it to 'open" or 'open in a new window". Or even pressing Ctrl.

wait, never mind. My computer was screwing up again. We need a new one. This proves it.

actually, I was thinking along the same lines, to make a learning bot that uses a cross referencing system between words with excell's grid, but i couldn't figure out how to link excel with Visual Basic, so I resorted to multiple access databases
