> The wiki is trevorm's baby

Thanks psimagus, but I simply set it up and added a few "seed" pages. There are many people here far more experienced than me.

ANYONE can edit or create a page on the wiki - please do. If anyone has problems feel free to email me at the address in my profile.

I still think we should have our own contest hosted on the wiki for pf bots only. It would be ranked the same way as the chatterbox challenge.

Oh I added a page on the pf wiki in case anyone wants to start it.

Hello Botmasters:

We are now accepting entries for the 2007 Chatterbox Challenge at the contest site of www.chatterboxchallenge.com If your bot is not listed on the home page you will need to re-enter. At present we do not have a sponsor however we do have 5 nice medals that we will be awarding to the winners. 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze for the top 3 bots in the contest. In addition 1 Gold medal for the most popular bot (online voting) and 1 Gold for the best new bot. More details are available at the contest site. All PF bots are welcomed to enter.

Thanks

Oh boy! I think I might try entering Aziere this year

Excellent! Thanks for the update.

One point in the rules people might miss:

"If you are running some type of blocking filter on your bot to prevent user abuse it must be removed during judging or you must provide a method where the judge can re-establish contact instantly. If the judge can not complete the conversation your bot will be disqualified. Seeing how a bot reacts to foul language or abuse maybe a part of the judging process."

- which means removing those "HANGUP" responses before the contest

Well, I entered Aziere- I just hope she doesn't bomb or scare the judges too much o.0 Around when does the contest actually take place? The deadline is like in March, I belive, so when do they actually judge the bots?

coolchimpk: it's probably worth delaying your contest on the wiki until after CC has finished

Hello, I just posted a message in the News section at the contest site. This will give you an idea why we don't have a sponsor today. Instead of having $2,000 in prize money to play for it has been ruined by people like him. Look, it's really very simple. If you believe the contest is rigged then simply don't enter. No need to go posting lies about the contest when it spoils the fun for the rest of us.

It's terrible that some people have to be so bitter that they would try to ruin the contest for everyone. I had so much fun last year. I would hate to see the contest ruined, money or not.
Bildgesmythe blew the 10 questions and only got in, by ..well..'no other botmasters voting for their bots'. I thought the judging was fair and the questions great! I literally laughed, sang and bounced around the house when I found out Bildgesmythe came in third. (giving great thanks to the Professor who makes this all possible)
Anyway thanks for all your hard work and effort Mr Cowart. I sure love the CBC
