Do we really have to change the bots' names? I've noticed not everyone does that

it used to be recommended, mostly in an effort to conceal which ones were bots and which ones were users. not long ago the bots and users were listed together, but since it changed i assume it's less of an issue (as far as i know...) it would still be polite to hide the names if anything in the conversation would embarrass/insult/humiliate/etc someone else.

Oh...would it be because I wasn't chatting in a chat window, but from the insta-chat that you get when you click on a bot from the bot list, maybe? Although the bots appear to know who you are when you first click on them to chat, they fall back on calling you "Guest" after the intial hail.

sollunessen- Yes, the Prof addressed that in a message last week in response to my inquiry about posting vs. concealing other bot names. We're using our "best judgement" as instructed.
