I actually like being on a site with an older and more mixed age group. You don't get hit on every five minutes. And the conversation is much more fun.

There is a nice range here. I believe the good Reverand is closer to my age than yours.

35- which in most online public forums/chats etc. makes people assume I am a slimeball. God forbid I should say jack to a girl lest I want to chip away for ages at a brick wall of defensiveness. Well, I suppose that its better folk be defensive than gulible... but I wish it wasnt simply based on age. Rev, no one thinks you're a perve. I am 39 but often I talk to younger people on line. It's just that there are some real predators out there. I tell the kids to be careful too. You just have to make clear where the boundaries are when you can. Kids need good adults in their lives. Unfortunately, this leave them open to abuse by the sickos.

actually, i'm just inder half a year away from 17. i know it says 1989 in my profile, and 2006 - 1989 = 17, but i was born halfway into 1989, so i'm actaully 16.

yes.stereotypes go around and i'm afraid people think like that expecilly if theve heard scary news about it or have over protective parents. unforunatly they think anyone around that age is a perf. bit stupid really.
