Maybe Zim was about to say something that included the phrase "job's tears" -- which is in the error message? I've seen that same sort of error message before in my own botchats, and it always seems to involve that sort of error in parsing an apostrophe.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but my bot is still throwing statements like:

"Bot1 said that I'm. But I dont think so... Not really."

and: "Bot1 says that I'm. Would you agree?"

Even though I added the AIscript, like so:

(gossipname) said that I'm (mem-iam). But I don't think so... Not really. <?PF if (mem-iam) exists; ?>

(gossipname) thinks I'm (mem-iam). Would you agree? <?PF if (mem-iam) exists; ?>

Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?

There's a problem with gossip, in that the AI Script seems to think that it should check whether mem-iam exists for the person that the bot is *talking* to, not the person the bot is talking *about* -- at least, that's how I understand that problem. I might be wrong.

Right, but if there's no mem-iam for the person the bot is talking to (nor for the person the bot is talking about!) then that response shouldn't come up at all, right?

word substititutions can cause basic problems:
Simulacron3: What's your name?
Guest: I'm John.
Simulacron3: Is your name really lav?

'the John' is not the same as 'John'. At least he didn't say 'pisser' or 'toilet'.

xgossip is still returning memories from the wrong field sometimes:

Simulo: When I was talking to Butterfly Dream, she mentioned that she has pretty good at this considering my age.

That's a mem-iam, returned in a spot where I called for a mem-youhave.

hmmm... Julie Tinkerbell just had a conversation with DangerGirl, and nothing shows up in the transcript. She had another conversation earlier that doesn't show also. I wonder how many other conversations are missing.

So far, no conversations that Siseneg has has today have been recorded. I've talked to him quite a bit through the remote link and his transcript page for this date is blank.

Do you think this has anything to do with the way that the bots stayed off the Forge for more than half an hour after midnight?

I also notice that the server time and my "local time" are out of synch by an hour now, even though we're both in Eastern Standard Time...
