No, it can't be done. If the pre-processing recognises a question as regarding a favorite it bypasses checking against any keyphrases and goes straight to looking for an xfavorite response. Many of us have expressed problems with this drawback in the past, and I'm sure the Prof will look into alternatives when he can.

I've always wanted to be able to add weights to all of the x-keywords. Would be nice to inhibit xcompliment, xmath, and xcommand, especially, or at least have them looked for only if no other matches are made.

Ok please give me an example line, in detail, how I would set up an xfavorite for ''what is your favorite game''- I do not understand how to put in the reply structure. There is not a good example anywhere that I can find in the book. SHOW me how to set up the xfavorite response please?

Yes ezzer..but what if i want him to answer 'what is your favorite brand of clothing'? How do I set it up in xfavorites?

You can't unless you give brand of clothing '20', and even then it won't always override xfavorites. With type and specific you can at least give the answer your own bot 'style'

hmmm...for brand of clothing, and this may not work, but I would play around with stuff like, "my favorite (keywhatever) is (typeof-(keywhatever))" or "(typeof-(sob)-n)" or something...That's something I'm experimenting with, myself. I don't have it down to a science, but I have been tickled pink with some of the results. Skysaw does a really good job with those, and may have some suggestions.

I am trying to play a little trick on a golf pro I know..
and the xfavs were getting in the way rather than helping.

PF has many kinds of 'built-in' behavior that let us quickly get up and running with a very impressived bot and avoid having to understand and deal with many of the stumbling-blocks of botmastering for beginners. That's the genius of what the Prof has done here. However, botmasters that are more experienced and want to push the envelope a little are often frustrated by those same helpful features. If we had the option to turn them off or override them, I think PF bots could kick it up a few notches.

I wouldn't want to disable them completely, but I like the idea of being able to rank x-keyphrases.
