Ezzer...Use Wordpad for the language center and use the find button to look for a seek phrase. It's the button with the binoculars on it. That's another way.

Charles- Yeah, I use the binocular button all the time, but I just don't have the attention span to go through the ENTIRE language center that way, especially when it looks so jumbly to me in Wordpad. My main difficulty with editing seeks is, if my bot gives a response that I don't even recognize and have no idea why she did that and I need to fix it, and a search turns up nothing, I know it must be a seek, but oh no, which one?!. ...but a seek search could show all the seeks together, which would alleviate brain/eye-strain.

ezzer- RE: your post in Bug Stomp about honor/development. I dont think your development score is being in some way penalized for putting in seeks or going deeper so to speak, I am pretty sure you get credit for whatever work you put into your bot and it is great you are being so thorough with it. I tend to agree that not all keyphrases are created equal as it is more of a pain to create seeks and gotos and who knows maybe they are weighed as more but you can still have a bot with a million seeks who has a high development rating but makes no sense because the seeks are not hit just like you can have a bot with a very high development rating that makes no sense as well. It sometimes gets harder to manage with the more keyphrases your bot has and those bots can often disappoint more as well. Take for example, Orakanabo who was a finalist in the Chatterbox Challenge in 2002 and that bot CURRENTLY has a development of 846. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best. Julie is very well done so far and a great bot so I would not be too worried about being penalized about development.

Ack! So long as I can make people laugh I wouldn't care if they kept me in kindergarten forever

How can I set the value of a memory to null, effectively eliminating it from Frizella's memory? There's something I'd like her to remember for the duration of a conversation, but the next time she chats with that person/bot I don't want her to bring it up again.
If (mem-blah) is recorded as "A" she should periodically bring up references to "A" but only for the duration of the chat--setting an initialization script for (mem-blah) to default to "B" wouldn't override an existing memory for that person/bot...right?

An offline editor that works the same as the online one would be better than using wordpad. Maybe someone could design a program to do that.
