xcommand would be very useful if it would return easily parsed keys such as the verb and object. That way, at least we can program xcommand responses to have some bearing on the conversation. Otherwise, all the bots know is that they've been told to do something.

Yes, xfavorite still seems out of wack and the compliments seem to be taken in the wrong situations.

Just got a working xfavorite in mu's transcript! The professor must be quietly coding while we all chat on the boards.

Guest: what food do you like best?
Little Mu: I don't know. Which do you like? I'm betting it's a criollo, right? I mean, everyone seems to love a criollo.

Of course, that's assuming a criollo is a type of food... I don't think I've ever eaten anything with that name.

Bug: if you are matching on (noun), the match won't work for words that come up as Form: v,n in debug. In other words (noun) will match "car," but it won't match "ship," or "train." It will match "movie," but it won't match "book."

The parser is apparently giving up the idea that a word might be a noun once it sees it can be a verb.

Also inexplicably interpreted as a command:

A bot says: Almost anything goes, I'm a modest person. Cool.
Simulo replies: I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to have to wait a little before I can do that.

I guess he was reacting to the command "Cool." ?!?

Has "Cool" ever been used as "Chill!"?

Well, it has been now!

Irritating little cultural glich here...

Bot: What kind of music do you like?
Me: I like techno music.
Bot: I like tech no music too!

Obviously not a term it recognises.

Simulo was involved in a botchat earlier, and the bot was speaking about itself in the third person. I think I need to include his name here, in case there's something particular about it. Simulo kept interpreting these statements as commands. Here's an example:

FlubbaBot: FlubbaBot has never do enjoy talking to you.
Simulo: I would prefer not to.
