Hey...ok I'm playing with plug-ins. Now, if I want to respond with one do I put it in the context of a sentance or do I put on as a response by itself? I hope this makes sense...I'm reading and rereading the book of ai right now.

Create a plug-in with all the undesirable words-then put HANGUP as your only response.

oh yeah, Does adding special things like (name) or (*)in old keyphrases and response improve your bots overall devlopment score? or just make the bot more realistic?

I don't think just adding (name) would effect devlopment very much. It does make your bot seem friendlier. You do have to be careful with wild card plug-ins (*)...They can back fire and make your response really stupid. I use them a lot, so I know.
It seems to me,development comes from the number of keyphrases and responses.

Either should work, whichever you think would make for a better response! (probably the former, IMHO).

rosebud- it depends on what you want the plugin to do. for instance... if it's a guesture or a full sentance plugin, or a ways to say yes or something... then putting it as the whole response works. if it's a type of flower or a list of things your bot likes, you may want to give it a framework.

Im drawing a blank here. I feel stoopid
how do you make it so that no matter what the user says, the bot will respond with something specific. Im pretty sure i dread it somewhere b4 but i cant remember. (sigh)

Hi. I have a hard time making my bot remember.
I want my bot to remember the last noun a user used. I think I can use both the Standard-memory or the Self-memory to do this. I have tried both of them without succes.
Right now I'm working on my bot to remember the noun via the Self-memory.
In the AIScript Initialization it says: self: default "life " as "nownoun", so that it will chose "life" if memory is empty.
The keyphase is: I have (noun)
The AI-scipt is: rem (key1) as only "nownoun"
The response is (Which I have in the x-none-section): Tell me more about your (self-nownoun). (Which I have in the x-none-section).
I have testet it and the only thing it will remember is "life" from the AIScript Initialization.
I know that it won't catch phases like "I have a computer" but only "I have computers".
What am I doing wrong?
