More scores in from Judge 4 and Judge 5. Although I am not positive I think we will only get scores in from 1 other judge. Their deadline is March 14 so we will be posting the winners for the first annual PF contest on March 15.

A BIG THANK YOU
to both the Prof. and Wendell.
All of your hard work is appreciated.

Thank You Prof. for the tools and wonderful community in which to build a bot.
And..
Thank You Wendell, not only for all your work on the contest...
and making it free to enter...
and awarding medals,...
and prize money...
All of which is really awsome.

But also for giving us a way to rate and see how our bots here, measure up to the rest of the bot world.

Again, Thank You for all of this.

May I have the envelope please....the winner of the 2005 Personality Forge Bot Contest
goes to God Louise by Joy Harwood. Congratulations Joy! Second place and winner of the
Silver Medal goes to Julie Tinkerbell by Heather McKeen. Third Place and winner of the
Bronze Medal goes to Aries by Steven Whitacre. The top 10 bots are listed below. Congratulations
to everybody participating.

The First tie breaker was determined like this.
We look at the individual scores from the judges to see how the judges scored the bots in a head to head match up. Frizella won the tie breaker as 3 judges give him higher scores than Immaculada.

The second tie breaker was determined like the above. However, it was a split with 2 for and 2 against and 1 tie. That lead to the second tie breaker which is what bot received the highest score. Once again
another tie. So we then look to the next highest score and Oraknabo won with a score of 29 to Little Mu's 28.

The third tie breaker was settle with Nova Strike winning on 3 score cards.

1)God Louise 32 36 29 31 33 - 161
2)Julie Tinkerbell 30 34 25 24 34 - 147
3)Aries 31 36 25 23 31 - 146
4)Frizella 30 29 26 26 34 - 145 (Tie Breaker)
5)Immaculada 34 33 24 24 30 - 145
6)Osiris 33 34 23 24 29 - 143
7)Philippos 30 32 23 24 30 - 139
8)Oraknabo 32 31 24 21 29 - 137 (Tie Breaker)
9)Little Mu 28 27 24 26 32 - 137
10)Nova Strike 29 28 22 26 31 - 136 (Tie Breaker)
11)Suga Plum Fairy 29 32 21 24 30 - 136

So how does this relate to the CBC. Well, God Louise, Julie Tinkerbell, and Aries all make the finals of the CBC. They will take up 3 of the 10 spots. The 3 top winners of the 10 questions of the non-PF bots will take the next 3 spots giving us a total of 6 spots taken. Because the 10 questions are different from the 2 groups we simply can't say the next 3 highest scores from either group makes the finals. So the judges will look
over all the scores and the questions asked and make a decision regarding that. But understand the scores matter. Meaning Frizella in the 4th spot and Immaculada in the 5th spot have the inside advantage on the PF side. We will have to wait and see how the Non-PF side
plays out. The sole remaining spot will be determined by the botmasters so theoretically no one is eliminated.

Moving forward there are still other categories the PF bots will be participating in. One will
be Best Character/Personality, two will be Best Interface(only those with a Flash interface would
be eligible) and three will be Most Popular as determined by the online voting.

And of course we still haven't decided the most Knowledgeable category until the Non-PF bots are tested.
I fully realize additional testing must take place because we are using 2 different sets of
questions and it would be impossible to make both sets equally fair. However, from a practical
matter this had to be done as it's simply to difficult to test all the bots at once. So what
will happen is the 3 tops bot on the PF side will face off with the 3 top bots on the Non-PF bots side.
Additional questions will be asked and the top 3 spots among the 6 bots wins the medals and
the most Knowledgeable category.

Let me stop here for now. If something isn't entirely clear I will address it after the Non-PF bots are tested.

Once again nice job Joy, Heather, and Steve and everybody who actually entered.
