I feel that my bot is ready for The A.I. Compatition! I was amazed that today I could find nothing to put into him! (as long as you are not a moron he will talk to you)

Regarding the contest site updates. According to Agentland "the results table now refreshes automatically every hour." I have also added a voting poll for the classic quotes section. So drop by and vote for which bot had the funniest or best quote. This is just for fun.

The size of a bot's data base surely makes a difference. This is why a bot like Alice could answer "What is the capital of France?" I actually thought about the possibility of a capital question but when you think of how many countries you would have to include not to mention all the states here in the USA I said forget it. I took the next best route of answering it by saying "I don't know what the capital is. I flunked Geography." Problem is if you continue to take this route against a Bot like Alice you're going to lose.

main thing is that your answer seems to be a grammatically correct answer...

That's been one of my biggest issues with AI and contests in general. This isn't a game show. Accurate data should count for nothing, just how realistic the response is.

I would be shocked if you really didn't know what the capitol of France is, unless you're younger than 12.

What if your bot is less that 12? And maybe is in search of the blue fairy instead? hehe
