If you have a question about bot making look at the various forums and see which catagory it belongs in. Post your question there and it will be answered by one of several extremely helpful botmasters. If your question is: "I dont know what to do, can someone help me?" then you need to read the book of AI (link is next to the "WELCOME TO TOMORROW".

help! my bot has the intelligence of a roll of toilet paper! Ok, I try talking to my bot to test it out, and I have different phrases for xinitiate, like one of them is hey. And I want to be able to put a response like what's up? when the person says hey or hi back, but it just goes and puts the xnone or xnonsense response.
That's automatic. Basically all convos begin:

xnone/xemote/xgossip
What you can do is put a seek on your intitiates and hellos, and that will break up the pattern.

what exactly do you mean? Like I will have hey as an xinitiate response for example. And then I will have hey as a seek for the response, and what's up as the reply. How am I supposed to do it because that isn't working?
