it doesn't have enough good features...and what it has it doesn't have enough of.

I think the legions of idiots trading gmail invites on every message board imaginable has been enough for me to not want to use it.

I saw that too, oddly enough people are begging for them just because everyone else is. A bit sheep-ish.

I think it's a BAAAAAAA-d idea

Alice got the Loebner bronze this year. Haven't seen transcripts yet.

Meaning, of course, that she won (for those of you who still don't know the twisted logic of Hugh Loebner).

Does anybody know anything about the order of the other contestants?
I have tried to find out about Steven Watkins but he is a most mysterious and secretive guy, at least about his interest in chatbots. Almost certainly doesn't have a website about his bot.
John Precedo has a bot called Alex, and Rollo Carpenter is the botmaster of Jabberwacky, for those who don't know.

They (they being Hugh Loebner) said the transcripts will be posted no later than Thursday.

Aaaaaand it's Thursday. So here they are:

Oh! I thought you meant Thursday, Loebner time.

Uh, by my count, John Procedo won.

Yeah, but the interface for his confederates didn't work right so he was disqualified.

Ew. What, it didn't type the letters fast enough?
