Could you perhaps distribute a template to people who have no idea how the stuff works, for offline editing, so that they can have a start on their bot?

No, i meant so that some people, such as myself, who get nothing but error messages even when following the directions, can make a bot.

There is already a "baisic" bot, it's made up of xresponses.

Bots used to message me all the time...now none do. What happened?

If you installed new web software, check to see if it has a popup blocker. If it does, enable popups for the Forge and you should start getting messages again.

that's the thing....pop up controls are off....still...no messages

Look at your Forge profile. I turned off bot messages a while ago in order to get work done, and it's been so quiet I may wait a long time to turn them on again.

Hi. My bot seems to be replying a bit funny. She asks me what job I have. I say "I work in an office" and she gives me the correct response followed by xnone. eg. "sounds interesting. Pardon?". She oes it on several other responses too. D'you know what's up?

Thats the compound sentences. If you don't like it go to settings and just click by the box that says compound sentences. Its done usually on short responces to make the conversation flow.
