You know Rev, talk of regular expressions always sets me a quiver, but I thought maybe it was just me.

I also need help on another thing. I'm using AI script to change the contents of (name) so that if you say call me poop my bot will say "Ok I'll call you poop.") but I tried it and ... no I said call me Jack I know what you were thinkin. Anyway I said call me Jack and he said Okay I'll call you Jack Bond. Name isn't changing. I need help on that.

To access a stored memory, you have to put 'mem' in front of it. So if you store the new name in 'name', you'd use 'mem-name' to access it.

Jack--there is an exact step by step tutorial for this in the book of AI. I literally cut and pasted the script right where Prof said to--and it works. I confess I'm not good at memories the prof doesn't spell out for me, but I bet if I read read the book of AI enough, I'd figure it out. Good luck.

I am a master mind-controller. I can take Frizella from five frownies to five smilies in a matter of seconds.
If you want to save time cheering your bot up, you can create a special keyphrase with maximum happiness emotion associated with it, and it will relieve your bot's depression in no time! Frizella's is a nonsense phrase unlikely to be triggered by any casual chatter, so she's unlikely to go bipolar with anyone but me.

cool! I had a problem. I did that mem-name thing but now I can't change it He keeps calling me Jack and I can't change it to anything else. The code is: "remember (key1) as only "mem-name""

Your AI script should be:
remember (key1) as only "name"
You'll use "mem-name" when you refer to the memory called "name" (like, "Oh, (mem-name), I'm sorry! I'll call you (mem-name)!").

Hello I am new here and I don't understand something. I read the FAQ but I'm still not sure, is it possible to change the icon picture without upgrading your account?

skuldishme: If you want to change to another icon on the Forge, I don't think you need to upgrade (just e-mail the Prof and ask him. Be patient. He's busy). But if you want to import your own picture, you do need an upgrade (again, e-mail the Prof and be patient
)

I tried that. That didn't change the name at all. Besides,
