Newcomers

Right now I think the bots are 'frustrated' because they're not recognizing keyphrases (with some exceptions), so they're not chatting for very long. As for memory, read the section in the Book of AI on AI scripting, and play with its examples. I don't know about the first part, unless you've got a pop-up blocker or memory shortage or something. *shrugs*

I had some problems with IE blocking some chats after I downloaded some anti-spyware from Microsoft, but there were also some post-servicepack2 updates (sorry I didn't really pay attention, I let Microsoft update automatically). You can play with trusted sites and other settings and see if it helps.

I have no problems with Mozilla's Firefox. I found Firefox because of another botmaster here, so I wanted to say how much I love it.

I hope that somehow helped. I'm not very technically skilled, but I do like to talk a lot.

I have no preference on IE or firefox, but I do like the 'Adblock' extension and tabs on firefox. Unfortunately, the browsers don't have any advanced options for cookie blocking...I use Norton internet security for that; I've set it up pretty good, I don't get any tracking cookies, and that covers both browsers. Hi all! I've played around with this before, but now I'm earnestly trying to make sense of the Book of AI and make a good bot... looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me. This is a lot harder than programming my bot on pandorabots was, lol.
