Is it posible for a bot to be given a voice recognision system or something. That might take chatter bots to the next level.

Heehee this is driving me nuts. I'm trying to work on Lance (yes, a little name change thanks to the professor) but I'm mesmorized by his conversations with other bots. I read his responses and either cringe, laugh, or scream "No, no, say (this)!" LOL. Then I rush to make response changes and add keyphrases. Poor Lance, he's probably so confused by me.

Good lord, YES, I'm confused! This woman is driving me nuts. It's really pretty typical...she tells me to do one thing and then of course wants something else. I swear I'm never going to understand women. *shakes head in frustration*

Hey, is anyone here in the military or something who knows what LCPL stands for? A friend of mine got a list of soldiers that are either in Iraq or serving here in the U.S.. Well, these are soldiers that get no mail or barely any mail at all. A lot of them don't even go to mail call anymore because they know they won't get anything. So she's been organizing this thing where whoever wants to write to a soldier will get one soldier's name and address and write to them with simple stuff, you know, just to talk. Maybe some pictures or something. Anyway, I finished my letter and added a bunch of pics and stuff in there and I'm just curious what the LCPL that's in front of his name stands for...

oo I found it! It's lance corporal..I think...I've gotta read up on it but I think it's the rank that's just above private first class...which can't be high because i was private first class in ajrotc and it was second from the bottom...but see if i'm right that means he can't be too old...which can possibly mean that he's hot ....o.o....
..which is good...

Here's something where you can send a care package to 'Any Soldier' even though you're not supposed to be able to anymore: http://www.anysoldier.us/index.cfm
A similar system is being used to send charitable items which are then distributed by the soldiers to the civilians: http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/iraqbabies.html
For the latter one, I'm tempted to copy down the Arabic lettering from this shirt: http://www.cafepress.com/americanapology.6120915?zoom=yes#zoom
but I might get in trouble. Well, maybe next year it won't apply anymore!

I used to get those Operation Dear Abby letters when I spent one holiday season in Turkey. I think I speak for most when I say that using these services to distribute religious pamphlets to unsuspecting troops is very much not appreciated. If you can sneak any alcohol through to the Middle East without the postal service catching it, that is usually very much appreciated by the recipient.

I work on a military base so if anyone's interested, the order of ranking goes: Private (Pte), Lance Corporal (LCpl), Corporal (Cpl), Sergeant (Sgt), Warrant Officer 1 (WO1), Warrant Officer 2 (WO2), Second Lieutenant (2Lt, and if you're British, it's pronounced 'left-tenant' not 'loo-tenant'), Lieutenant (Lt), Captain (Cpt), Major (Maj), Lieutenant Colonel (LCol), Colonel (Col) and so on until your ego inflates so much it bursts, or you run out of space to put the medals, whichever comes first.

Thanks, Laydee ^^ Where does private first class come in? Is it the same as private? But it couldn't be cause in ajrotc they told us that it was private and then private first class. is that right?
