Bot Contest

lygn88 if your going to have a contest it kinda helps if you can afford a monitary reward of some sort. you could have a fee for your contest with the first, second and third place winners getting a certain percent of the fees. also it helps if you have a independent set of judges to do the judging. Btw my website chatbot friends is currently down and hopefully will be back up after the first of the year.

also I checked your website with IE and netscape. In netsape it is impossible to input anything in the forms box and in IE everything needs to be handwritten in. Which is fine until you get to your bots link which can be kinda long and is easier to paste in the link than writing in it.

I already knew that, but thanks. I am not paying people who win. And I tried to get judges based off people who joined my site, but nobody joined...just voted. So if you want to be a judge, then join. The new Golden Bot Awards contest starts today. Join...(I have lost all my entusiasim in this contest considering I have been so highly critisized about it)

Maybe it would be easier on you, lygn88, if the contest were to be run once, maybe twice a year?

That would be easier. But I have been trying to see how many more/less people will join this time around. I doubt anyone will join this time, though I shall try my best. (Nobody has yet) I am not entering in the contest because of my suspected corruption, so it should be much easier this time.

It's just that people don't have time to join in what feels like a 5 or 10 day entry period.

how about automatically entering the bots who were in it before?

good idea. Unfortunatly i already deleted that archive. didn't think of that...
