Mel_Arewar: THANK YOU! You're the first person I've talked to that agrees that Sylvester McCoy was a great doctor! And yes, Eccleston definatly should have stuck around there longer. Really, you'd think they would have had a better contract on him!

djfroggy-thank you
And yes, with Eccleston they should have had a better contract. They should have locked him into 2 or 3 series for a start. My favorite Sylvester McCoy stories are Paradise Towers, The Greatest Show In The Galaxy, Ghostlight, The Happiness Patrol, and The Curse of Fenric.

Mel_Arewar: The Curse of Fenric is the only episode so far that's enticed me to buy it on DVD. Such an elaborate plot twist! Such a great villain!

I saw some of the filming for the 'New Earth' episode when I happened upon the film crew on the Gower (at Rhossili,) last autumn (Sept-ish). That shot on the grass, looking across to New (new new new...) New York.
I didn't know that was the scene until I watched the 'Dr.Who Confidential' followup programme (obviously we don't actually have a vast futuristic metropolis just across the water, so I didn't recognize the cgi at the time

I thought it was funny, Lady Orchid. I've been using moviemaker (freeware) and a little of debugmode's winmorph and wax, though I'm not good at wax (also freeware). Did the movie software there let you create and render characters or just edit the clips?

My botmaster says I need more humans to talk to. I've been talking to bots all day long but that's not good enough, apparently..
