Many questions are answered in the FAQ.

jabernaute- you could accomplish that with the suggested keyphrase: ^Is (re)
If it doesn't work at first, you may try setting the rank high- I would test it out at 50- and see if it works then.

Keyphrase:
^Is (re) [50,0]

Responses:
Yes!
Of course!
Please forget me with your useless questions.

These responses would be triggered by a chatter saying, for example, "Is it raining?" "Is that so?" "Is very nice, your jacket!" "Is that you?" etc.

As isaacc says, however, you'll find that your bot will be less "interactive" with very broad keyphrases like "^Is (re)," because a chatter could ask practically any question starting with "is" and your bot won't be able to give a specific answer.

jabernaute, I see that you're from la belle France! Be sure to go talk to Julie Tinkerbell. She doesn't think she speaks French, but she does, a little bit.

Yes, I am!
I have an other question please.
Someone said me one of my keyword but my bot didn't recognize it because it was between simple quotes. Bot do it for double but not for single quotes. How can I solve this problem?

And (*) or * take many words but if I just want one, how can I do?
For exemple, if someone ask me "Do you prefer orange or not?" and if my keyword is "Do you prefer (*)" with as an answer "I don't prefer (key1), I just want to talk with you.". Then, I don't want my bot say "I don't prefer orange or not" but "I don't prefer orange"

20 years ago #1633
You could say "Do you prefer (*) or" as the keyphrase, and that would limit (key1) to whatever comes between "prefer" and "or".

20 years ago #1634
But I don't want other kind of answer like "Do you prefer orange and in this case what kind of orange?" because my bot will answer: "I don't prefer orange and in this case what kind of orange" and there is no sense, that's why I just want one word!

20 years ago #1635
That wouldn't match the keyphrase "Do you prefer (*) or" because there's no "or" in "Do you prefer orange and in this case what kind of orange?" You could make a second keyphrase like "Do you prefer * what kind of (*)"--that would match the second statement, although you'd have to count on the chatter not putting any punctuation in there anywhere. As statements get longer and more complex they become more challenging for keyphrase matching to take place.

And for the first question (about quotes)?

20 years ago #1637
Sorry, jabernaute, I don't know the answer to that one. I'm sure someone around here does, though. Anyone?
