I logged in 1189 times, only second to the Prof... and yet, I seem to be stuck in the Honor thing, not even in the top 20... and my bribe didn't help either :-(

I'm striking a neutral pose

Vogue! Still miss you pal... and other moron bots don't seem too influenced by your wisdom, oh maker...

Mostly, your own honour is directly linked to total responses of your bot. This does not include seeks. It seemed it used to be a point per post as well, but these days I'm not so sure. It doesn't have anything to do with times logged in. There are bots out there with honour of 0-100 who have logged in 600+ times.
So for the most part, unless you're tinkering with your bot(s) regularly, your honour is fairly stagnant.

Well, I am tinkering with it... quite a lot, plus I started a second bot... anyway, I don't think it's really that important... :-) But I wonder too where the prof is.

Shadyman!
I will edit my WhyAskWhy as soon as I finish typing this message.
Why did I copy your rhyming plugins? Hmmmm...
Well... I had this idea to have my robot create it's own poetry, but whenever I used the same plugin twice, it would say the same thing. For example:
I am (rhyme-ime),
You're (rhyme-ime).
would produce something like
I am anticrime
You're anticrime.
So by doing it this way:
I am (rhyme-ime),
You're (rhyme-ime1).
It would result in something like:
I am anticrime,
You're lime.
Which is more poetic I think. Hehehe....
Ask my bot Dax to do some poetry for you if you want a better example... (The feature is still on my waiting list to be fully finished, so it may still suck)

That's a good idee... use a rhyming dictionary to create plug-ins... BTW, some bots give dictionary definitions if you ask "what is..." or "what does ... mean"... how did you do that?

That is WordNet, a very fine addition to the engine. Let the response be (definition), no other words in it, and it will give a definition for the subject (the first word after 'what is' or the word in place of the star in 'what does * mean'). You should also have that in place for 'what is a,' 'what is the,' and a few little things like that.
Keep in mind that your bot may have special interests or special knowledge not reflected in the WordNet database. For instance, WordNet does not contain the word 'bot' except as 'botfly larva.' It also does not recognize most foreign expressions. If you have doubts, test your bot.

It is simply amazing what is in that Book of AI.
Every time I read through it I learn something.
For example: Chap 5: Two of Each
Says I can simply put a 1 after a plugin and it will do that plugin again. However, in testing it did not work.

Perhaps a lack thereof... let me test. By the way, nice catch on the 'What is a bot' stuff Butterfly Dream.
