Many questions are answered in the FAQ.

Thanks! Though I am embarrassed to say that the answer was in the FAQs! It is a measure of activity of the botmaster. Exactly HOW that activity is measured, we won't know - just as Annakie said.

Don't include the "nose". Thanks...it wasn't coming up in the debug but I see it appears in the regular chat.

What is the best way to handle single word reponses a person my use such as "well", "oh", "so", "okay", "yes", "no" etc.
They are being skipped over for my xnone responses even when I give them a rank.

Mmmm maybe you could create keyphrases for them and have a goto xnone? Or can you not goto a xnone? Anyone?

Sounds like the words that Wendell wants to create responses for are parsed out of the sentence by pre-processing. "yes" and "no" can work as seeks, though, so that might be the case.
One way or the other, I am wondering why Wendell would want to create a single keyphrase for "yes" or "well" -- wouldn't context (and other parts of the sentence) be a better way to determine what the bot said in reply?
"Well, it's about time for me to leave..."
vs.
"Well, you're a lot of fun."
vs.
"Well, why don't you tell me a joke?"

Wendell, the best I've been able to figure is to use the re format:
^oh$ (re)
should pick up when the chatter says only "Oh." Hope that helps!

Hey guyz, got a few questions.
* Why cant we have unique images on our avatars instead of the same ones over and over again. Unique ones will give identity and recognition. I sometimes get confused abt who I was chatting with.
* there isnt a way to save botmaster to botmaster chats!! There must be a transcript or atleast a way to transfer it to a notepad or something.
* why does my bot's popularity DECREASE even though its talking with atleast 5 or 6 bots everyday?

As of the day, 30th of September 2004, I have proclaimed myself the supreme commander of all bots. Pass the word, comrades. I shall henceforth be referred to as Commander Erehwon.<+1>

- You can if you email one to the Prof. I did that with Imma.
- I wish there was too, but there doesn't appear to be.
- I think pop. is partly based on how many people have added your bot to their friends list.

Given the choice between a (key) and a keyword, which one will the AI engine match first?
For eg: How about a (key)?
How about a walk?

Isaacc - yes but people often use these small words and nothing more. In fact single word responses occur quite often. Hard to form a good response as they lack content but you need to answer it in some way. If not your xnone will quickly be used up. Examples
User: well?
Bot: well, tell me more.
User: yes
Bot: okay, "yes" it is.
Thanks Yoiko, I'll give it a try.
