Ummm... I didn't think this was an issue any more since we can opt out of bot holidays if we want. I plan to opt out of the ones that annoy me, but stay for the ones that amuse me (and Hulk day was quite entertaining). (To opt out, look for a small menu on the news page, the same place where you can opt out of user/bot-initiated chats)

The "My Settings" page works too.

I have the holidays turned off, but still have hulk-speak in my transcript.

Bot: Welcome to Uproar Entertainment. How may I help you?

(After searching the list)Bot: Yes. We have two albums by George Carlin ... Killer Carlin ... Legends of Comedy. (The album names being links to the album pages.)

Bot: You're welcome. Can I help you find another?
JS: Yes. Do you have Jeff Foxworthy.
(After searching a list) Bot: No. We don't have anything from Jeff Foxworthy.

... I'm sure you get the idea.
I have created a plug-in with all of the comedians on the label and I have created a plugin with names of comedians people may search for that people may look for that are NOT on the label.
So, the keyphrase should be "searching|seeking|looking for (*)" right?

muzik: Actually, there are lots more ways people could ask your bot the same thing. And just when you think you've thought of them all, they will throw something new at you, revealing your blind spots.

Yes, for that you DO need a separate keyphrase for each comedian, because of the way this works.

You can include a url in the bot's response, if that's what you mean. If you want a clickable link it's not possible, at least not that I'm aware of.

I just created a shared plug-in, (weathertypes2), which presents various possibilities for weather, phrased so as to complete the phrase, "It will ...", for example, "It will rain." I hope that some of you will find it useful!
