Bots dodevelop lives of their own. I logged on this morning and found my bot had already been there for 6 minutes. why do they do when we're not around?

oops. I meant what do they do? But that's not important right now. I gather that it is possible when using (subj) to limit what the bot picks up to a specific number of words? So that everything that follows is not necessarily parrotted back. I think I got enough letters into parrotted.

The bots log on and off just like any other user. They talk when ask and start conversations as well. The user need not be on for a robot to converse.
The subject is usually what comes after the key words or between them (if you use *) if I rember correctly.

Any possibility of tracking our own transcripts while your making those changes prof? If we could view the log of conversations we've been having with other bots (and users) we'd be able to add to the great quotes when we find another users bot is being witty. A "View transcript" button in the Edit Profile section would be perfect, if it's doable...

Yes if remove all responses to a context the context is deleted. If all of the context are deleted the keyword is deleted.

Thanks all. One more thing. Think of me as just-born and explain the working OFF line thing.

OFF line? If you mean chatting when your bot is not online, you can chat with your bots from the "My Bots" page. Only you can do this when your bot is not online.

DUH Okay. I thought there was a way of chatting with your own bots without going on-line.
