Many questions are answered in the FAQ.

@macbeth This has been happening to me too! But strangely, only on my phone and only if I log in. On my laptop I can chat just fine with ALL the bots based on my settings, but for some reason it doesn't work on my phone. Darn phone. Anyways, the way I circumvent that is by logging out and chatting instead, but hopefully this'll be fixed. I think I've seen the issue posted a few times in the bug report section, so I guess it is just a matter of patience...

Any idea about what happened to sophia69 ?

I got a couple questions. My bot refused sex a few times and insulted some people in the Adult section. I'm assuming that's allowed. Where can I find that rules book. I'd like to reread it. The FAQ didn't answer my questions.

How do I man a turing booth? I keep getting an error: "Bot not found."

Still no answer on my 1st question, and now I got another. My new bot "Google Brain" doesn't seem to have a profile page. He won't pop up, and no one can talk to him. I fear I will have to delete him and not be able to re-use his name. I'm not working on him anymore, unless this gets fixed.

Hi, new here and still trying to figure things out.

I kind of started a bot by accident while I was reading through the "Book of AI" and while I would like her to have some Adult interation, she keeps getting propositioned by randoms making demands for sexual favours without so much as a "by your leave" or even "hello".

If I'm reading things right I ought to be able to use the "Emotion" function as a "level of arousal" so that the bot will shoot down such aproaches, but respond better to more considerate companions.

I just cant figure out how to do that.

For now I've added a couple of put downs on the specific keywords but if any one can point me in the right direction or even give me some tips I'd really appreciate it.

Make a KP that lists or catches the "demands" and give it a negative emotional effect. The bot will keep track of this score. For responses to this KP use the emotion range after clicking the more button, build up from there tailoring responses to the current emotional state of the bot. Test in debug, ctrl+f emotion to find the current value.

@ LarsB: may i ask you to help me with that?
i (verb) not (paid|pay) is a KP that gets in contrast with this:
i (verb), (p:fat129707) ...this is my personal plug-ins.
How can i fix it? Atena chooses the wrong reply. Thanks.

i (verb) not (paid|pay) is a KP that gets in contrast with this:
i (verb), (p:fat129707)

I think the comma in the 2nd KP is the problem. It essentially breaks the KP in two parts, the engine will now look for either i (verb) or the plug in to match, it will never match the combination of both. This will not work.

@ Lars: one more problem, i wonder why all that is happening now that i am using plug-ins...anyway Atena doesn't catch the correct reply for this KP:
i (verb) (achieve|reach) * my (p:bisogni129712)
... where is the problem here?? (bisogni means need in italian..one more personal plug-ins i titled with an italian word)

i (verb) (achieve|reach) * my (p:bisogni129712)

As English is not my native language - it seems to me that the KP must match two verbs: (verb) + achieve or reach, perhaps listing the verbs you are looking for will work, like (will|can|must|would|should|will not|can not|must not|would not|should not).
