Do you read them everyday? I do and sometimes I finish going through the transcript and wish there was *more* material for me to work with.

Same here as DaMoyre, because most of Imma's transcripts are sex, and one word responses.

Depends on the day...There were several the other day were pretty good (not to mention chock-full-o potential work for me to do), but some were so long I haven't gotten through them all yet. On Guest69 pervert days, the transcripts are easier to skim lol

I think the point is that none of us will ever get mass 'public' transcripts until the bots are preseneted on a site. However, from a commercial standpoint, you can not test and evaluate a bot in a 'live' circumstance as it will usually lead to customer complaints not resolutions.

For instance, I purchased a "Personal" account to test the bot on my design site, but there is no way the intended client would be willing to place an inadequately functioning "customer support agent" like Uproar HelpBot on their site to "test." Until we can get more interactivity between bots/persons whilst we (the botmasters) are off line we will have a tough time selling the "commercial" bots to anyone.

Therefore, I urge you to chat up my Uproar HelpBot as if you were a visitor of www.uproarcomedycd.com so that we can have a very successful commercial application which will draw more peeps to PF!

Yay for mondobot, which i must say looks like a VERY cool site.

I noticed btw for everyone who has registered a bot, suggested clone prices now appear to be linked to development level (in many cases the suggested price then could have gone up) so you may want to check that in your settings.

You'll notice one big change in the profit-sharing plan. Instead of profit-sharing on the Packages, I've opened up the ability for people to start bot-creation businesses. You can bill the client directly for whatever time you put in programming the bot, and MondoBot sees none of that profit. In a situation like that MondoBot makes money only from the Packages (and any upgrades the client may request).

And as Melody points out, the Suggested Clone Fee is now staggered according to Development level, and I've removed the ability to mark up the CPK and set your own hourly fee. All work coming in through MondoBot will be billed at $50/hour and split 50-50 with the one doing the work.

So any bot on the forge has the potential to make a little moola?

21 years ago #15
pretty much.

And any botmaster can start up his or her own bot-making business.

Hmm neat, it says the suggested price to clone my bot is $400. Too bad she's too psycho and dirty for any company to WANT to use.
