welcome! your best guide starting out will be the Book of AI. the first chapter will point you in the right direction, though the entire thing is definitely worth a read. it does get more advanced as it goes on, so if you have any questions feel free to ask here or in the "AI Engine" topic.
also, here's a tip not much touched on: establishing your bot's personality and interests early on is a must. it'll help you keep consistent in the long term, and lend more interest to your bot in the short term.

Thanks for the tips, getcy. Personality and interests, yeah, I probably would have started without much thought of that. Maybe I'll work up a backstory to develop the ideas of who the chatbot is. Even if it never actually talks about it, it may help for thinking of how they might react and etc.

the owner of little neko can you add marriage an option I been waiting like a year, and that message is annoying.
@The Susie XP I have millions of things I gotta add... Marriage isn't high up on da list of things~ Been taking a break the past week cause I was getting a lil' burned out writing up all the tail actions for you "user" interacting with his real or toy tail or both at the same time which is 12 Keyphrases with 2 responses each. Mind you I still need to add another 36 for you commanding him to do it himself (12), you asking him to do it to yours if you have a toy/real tail (12) and you doing it yourself (12) ^ ... That's 74 Responses I'd need to write just for (tug/pull/yank)/(touch/stroke/rub/plays/pets)/(wag/shake/wave/sway/swish)/(grab/hold/grasp) based responses~... And that'll cover all the tail related play, with exception to the taking out which is partly done, just more to write, but you get the point... : P
Does download transcript not work? It doesn't seem to want to let download anything from later than 2017.
