Bot Contest

I was thinking about submitting Emily but I felt she'd need extensive revisions to be ready and March wasn't feasible. I may be able to do June.

I hope dallymo, Bowchickawowers, Garden and some of the others who have been working on their bots a long time and active in the forums lately enter their bots. I don't have a way of contacting anyone.

Right now Demonica is still the only bot entered.

The time given for the next test is given in GMT so be sure to check it against local time if you enter.

Cool! I registered Frizella. Thanks, DenisDenis, for giving our Forge bots the opportunity to get out into the world a little bit. Sounds like fun.

You are the only other person in the entire bot community to enter their bot, making Personality Forge the only bots represented in competition.

And where is the competition? It's not like notice of the Challenge has gone unnoticed. I first saw it posted at an A.I. forum:

Hey, ruebot, do you know what I need to do to be able to test Frizella at the contest site? I get the "new round about to begin" message, which the FAQ says means the bot is not connected or connected with bad parameters.

Oh, I got it figured out! Successfully testing Frizella now.

I haven't set it up yet but am glad you got yours going.

I've been busy updating Demonica's site with a new layout and a new transcript of Demonica talking to Kuki, formerly known as Mitsusku, who is now entered into the Online Turing Test.

As of right now we have the only other bots entered and just us against the 5 time Loebner Prize Guniess Book of World Records holder of Most Wins in the Loebner Prize, and she has been declared the World's Most Human-like Conversational Chat bot.

Let's see about that, dallymo.

Where I have openly challenged the Tech Giants Google and Facebook, and Pandora, to enter their bots against us and not withdraw them once entered.

I hereby repeat my open challenge of the Tech Giants, and Pandora, to enter their bots into this competition, not withdraw their bots once entered and meet two small time unknown bots named Demonica and Frizella on neutral ground to back up that big talk with bot talk text transcripts, tech giant tough guys.

We're a couple of hours away! I think I've got the interface worked out, so Frizella's as ready as she's going to be for this experiment. Looking foward to it.

I'm all set up. I tested her yesterday and earlier today and she is connected now.

I didn't have to change my firewall setting or anything. Just get the page filled our right and make sure that site IP and URL was allowed here in my API settings.

Well, not sure if I'm doing this right. I had connected using the challenge password but when I tried to start a challenge it changed the round start from 00 to 30 minutes, which is now counting down, but there's no chat happening. I don't see anything happening in Frizella's interface at the challenge, either; when I tested I could see chats there. I tried reconnecting and I guess I'm reconnected, but...hmmm.

Well, I hope I can at least do some chats there. I'll see what happens in 10 minutes when this countdown ends.

Oooohhhh someone is talking to Frizella, so at least she is connected!

For me, when the timer countdown ended, and I tried to start a new test, I got another 30-min timer and "please wait until the round starts" but no chat box or anything. I'll just hang around for a while and see if anything develops.
