Here I'll be posting information on various Bot contests that challenge and test a Bot's AI and realism. Feel free to post comments and updates on contests, as well as announcements for new contests.

After a year's layoff I've changed my mind about the CBC. I think it should continue. I think botmasters need a reliable contest they can count on other than the Loebner Contest to look forward to. The contest has taken place for 12 straight years and I want that streak to continue. The CBC has a rich history dating back to 2001 and I think that's worth preserving.
With that said the 2013 CBC will begin in June with the deadline to enter being 6/1/13 - 6 pm Eastern Standard Time (USA).
The contest is Free to Enter. No testing will occur till after the deadline has passed so please consider entering asap.
There is at present no sponsor however we will be awarding an original Kevin Copple Medal to the winning Bot along with the bragging rights and having your bot listed as the contest winner on the website.

I have appreciated the support from the Personality Forge in the past and hope you will enter the 2013 contest.

No, it's not a hoax. The contest site is up and running. Hoping to get some PF bots to enter. We used to have a bunch that entered back in the day.

Good news! Decadent Vapours will be sponsoring the 2013 and 2014 CBC. They will be offering the following in prize money:
1st Place - $1,000
2nd Place - $500
3rd Place - $250

Anybody else notice the Guest numbers kept changing for what I assume were the judges? I hope that doesn't go against Aries since he would respond to a question with "Hi Guestxxxx" since he kept seeing them as new people..
