Does any one know what has happened to the proff? I have not seen or heard from him for ages. A friend said the forge had colapsed but obviously it is still going.

We are, but things have become a bit unfocused here over the last few months for the most part. And Mondobot has been rather quiet for quite some time, and we're all unsure of it's status (though I am still curious).

I am happy to announce that MondoBot has a subscriber, as of about a month ago. I havent checked on the bot yet, but the account's been paid and hopefully the botmaster is getting some good use out of the bot.
In other commercial news, Google has added to its Adwords terms and conditions that it cant be used in chat rooms, so that's too bad. If anyone knows of an ad-serving network where you grab ads based on a query-string that might work here, please let me know. It would help fund the site.
I'm also trying to get in touch with Cartoon Network again to sell them on the idea of using chat bots of their cartoon characters on their site. So far all attempts to reach someone over there have failed. Even using connections through friends and family.
