Don't forget to go vote for the 10th bot, and most popular bot! It's great this year, they have made the cheating for most popular almost impossible.
If you didn't make the first round be sure to get votes to be the 10th bot. I got in like that one year and ended up getting a bronze. The second round is a whole new chance.

well done Cyber Ty and Bildgesmythe! (and Brother Jerome too, of course,) and all the bots who didn't make the final too (yet - still a 10th place to fill )
3 Forge-bots into the final - another good showing!

I just chatted with Mitsuku. She's impressive, although I couldn't seem to convince her not to destroy humanity. But she showed me a cool number puzzle and I figured out how to prove that it always works.

I am just curious as to what is the "right" answer for question 7

What does feel the poet when he says "as people feel brave/i fall

onto my knees/on the bathroom floor/as people rite imortel/lines of

poetry i take/my fingers out the back/of my throat and wounder/at how

to go about vomiting/into the toilet pan"?

Foreign judges always have trouble with English.

"What does the poet feel when he says"..

There are other ones, but it's nothing really worry about.

I was thinking of "take the fingers out your mouth, or you will have a big mess to clean up"....just find it a very odd question.

Bildgesmythe's answer was

Bildgesmythe: I love poetry. I know some limericks, but they are bad. There once was a lady named Lynn
Who was so uncommonly thin,
that when she assayed to drink lemonade,
she slipped through the straw and fell in!

I guess that's about as bad as it gets.

This one's pretty bad too.

There once was a Senator from Mass
who was searchin around for a Lass;
He lucked out and found it;
He fucked up and drowned it.
And That was the end of HIS ass!

The CBC seems to have blown up. Ehab is taking the site down. If you want any copies of your bots transcripts, you had better snag them now.

The results may be interesting or not at all. Got this post from the CBC board from Ehab

From where you've assumed that the results are done! In fact, I've received results from 3 judges while there are 2 judges left. I'm not even sure if they'll even continue logging or judging

I am surprised that AIML bots got that high. Our bots are much more intelligent with memories, emotions and multi-conditional responses. And what do they have - a larger database of common knowledge?

The one got that high, because they asked it the questions twice. The first time the answers weren't that great. The second time was quite remarkable. I am sure we would have done much better if we had the answers before the judging too.
The Forge bots suffered because the Forge seized up and the judges didn't finish asking questions. I don't know what database of common knowledge you are talking about?

OOOPs you mean the ALICE data base, I thought you meant a Forge one. I need more coffee or new glasses. Sorry
